Will John Mayer be able to stick to his resolution?
Serial dater John Mayer is planning on staying single in 2010. We don't believe him but that's exactly what he told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.
"Yeah, I'm a little freaked out about dating. So, I'm just going to let time pass and just do my thing," the singer tells Ellen.
So, why is he quitting you asked? Well, it seems John realises that the girls he has dated are all famous personalities and that might just be the problem.
"For some reason who ever I date has been famous for a while. I can't sit here and be like, 'Oh, please let me live my life in private with this famous person who's been around for 15 years."
John has dated celebs like Jennifer Love Hewitt (she was the inspiration behind his big hit, Your Body Is A Wonderland), Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly and Jennifer Aniston.
