OMG !!, I've been patiently waiting and taking my time all this while just to watch Sex And The City 2, I've been waiting for it for over a month now .. . .and finally, I'm gonna watch it tomorrow . ..I'm just just so happy rite now which I can find a word to describe it yet rite now ...sorry for that but i'm really happy and I can't wait for tomorrow . . arghh . . haha ..lolz . .wuhoo!!

Dear John

The minute I bought the 'Dear John' DVD, I already knew that it is going to be a sad yet lovely/romantic movie. When I watch it just now, it was so touching where Savannah have to leave John, and the other part where John read the letter to his dad and he cried, whoa!!, that is so sad at that moment, I really think that both John and Savannah should be together and Savannah shouldn't be with Tim. Amanda Seyfried is so pretty and I personally love her blue eyes, it's so catchy and it shines like diamonds . . ..haha. .lolz ..

Synopsis:

John Tyree (Channing Tatum), a young man from the Army Special Forces, is lying on the ground in his combat gear with multiple gunshot wounds on his body. He goes on to compare himself to a coin in the United States Military and states that the last thing he thought about before he blacked out, was "You."

In 2001, John is on leave when he meets Savannah (Amanda Seyfried), a college student on spring break. In a matter of days, Savannah and John fall in love. John meets Savannah's family as well as her neighbor, Tim Wheddon (Henry Thomas) and Tim's autistic son, Alan (Luke Benward), who looks up to Savannah.

Savannah meets and befriends John's father, a reclusive man who is only interested in his coin collection. John tells Savannah that his father has always been obsessed with coins and has not been much of a father to John, whose mother is not in the picture. Savannah mentions to John, that his father, like Alan, may have autism. This upsets John, who believes Savannah is calling his father retarded. He is so caught up in his anger that he gets into a fight with Savannah's rich neighbor, Randy (Scott Porter), accidentally punching Tim in the process. John apologizes to Tim the next day and leaves Savannah a note, seeking her forgiveness before his leave comes to an end. Savannah gets the note, and they spend one last day together.

John returns to the Army and he and Savannah begin a long-distance relationship through handwritten letters. John believes that year will be his final year of enlistment but, following the September 11 attacks, is torn between returning home and his sense of duty. He is given a weekend off, which he spends with Savannah and her family as well as with his father. He asks Savannah for her opinion on whether or not he should re-enlist, and she tells him to do what he feels is right. Like the rest of the soldiers in his unit, John chooses to re-enlist.

Over the next 2 years, John faces dangerous missions and begins to live almost entirely for Savannah's letters. John and Savannah find themselves drifting apart. Finally, Savannah, sad but resigned, sends John a Dear John letter, informing him that she has become engaged to someone else.

John receives a letter from Savannah saying that she's engaged to someone else

John, deeply depressed and frustrated by the news, believes she is engaged to Randy. On a mission, he enters a dangerous area and is shot several times by an enemy. His captain suggests that John go home and spend time with his father but, still upset about Savannah, John chooses to re-enlist again. He decides that he will make a career out of the Army and stay enlisted for as long as possible.

For the next four years, John, trying to mend his broken heart over Savannah, takes part in many missions with his new unit, spanning from the early years of the invasion of Iraq to the current resurgent conflicts in Afghanistan. During a mission in Qatar, John is informed that he is being sent home because his father suffered a severe stroke and was not found until days later. John feels guilt that if he had been there, the outcome for his father would have been better. The doctor assures him that his presence and quicker medical attention would have done little to help his father due to the severity of the stroke. John spends the last few days of his father's life by his side and writes him a letter. His father has difficulty opening it, so John reads it to him. It is then that the viewers find out that John's speech at the beginning of the film addressed his father, not Savannah. He tells the story of the first mule coin that he found and how it brought father and son to a shared passion of coin collecting. They connect in a tearful moment, and his father dies soon thereafter.

He discovers that she married Tim, not her rich friend. Savannah tells him Tim has cancer and is not allowed to leave the hospital. She says that the only way he can come home is by having an experimental drug that they can not afford. John visits Tim in the hospital, where Tim apologizes to John. He confesses that he has always loved Savannah and that he is happy because his son Alan will always have someone to care for him. Tim also admits that Savannah still loves John. While he wishes that she loved him the same way, he accepts what can never be. Late that evening, after reconnecting with Savannah, John finally says goodbye to her, forcing Savannah to acknowledge that she has lost John, bringing her to tears.

John sells his father's coin collection, though he keeps the very first mule coin that was the key element to their bond when he was a boy. He anonymously donates the money from the sale to finance Tim's drug. The next scene shows John back with his unit, using the mule coin in a coin toss with his fellow soldiers. John then gets an unexpected letter from Savannah. She writes about how she received an anonymous donation to help Tim with his treatment to buy him time to say goodbye and thanks him for doing so. Tim died after two months. She expresses that she still wonders where John is and what he is going through, but she accepts that she lost the right to know a long time ago.

Moved by Savannah's letter, John gets a new lease on life and decides to leave the Army after his current tour. In the last scene of the film, John walks a bicycle down a block in an American town and stops to chain it up. At that moment, Savannah in a nearby cafe turns to spot him. John turns, and they lock eyes through the cafe's glass window. Savannah exits the cafe, and they embrace with passion.

Can't Wait To Watch Sex And The City 2 . . .Wuhoo!!!

After I watch the first movie of the Sex And The City, I totally got hook up with it. The movie just blown my mind away and which I think it's a great movie, yes I admit I enjoy watching mostly chick flicks nd not action type movie. .. .but who says guys can't watch chick flicks movies, sometimes when you have a girlfriend, and when she ask you to accompany her to wtch it and you still have to watch it no matter what happen, lolz, so, To all the guys out there, pls don't feel ashamed to watch chick flicks type movies . .hahaha . . . .Oh yeah, back to the topic of what I was gonna say just now, seriously I really can't watch to Sex And The City 2 and I bet it's gonna be even better than the first movie ...lolz

At the Connecticut same-sex wedding of Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson) and Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone), Liza Minnelli appears in a cameo to officiate the wedding vows and she sings Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)".

The four friends now have lives that are more stressful than before: All are married except for Samantha, who is now 52 and trying to keep her libido with hormones alive while dealing with menopause; Charlotte's two children are a handful and Charlotte is worried that Harry is attracted to their nanny, Erin (Alice Eve), who, as revealed at the end of the film, is a lesbian; and Carrie's marriage to Mr. Big (Chris Noth) has settled down, though they differ on how to spend their spare time: she always wants to go out, he would prefer to stay home and watch television some evenings.

Meanwhile, Samantha is approached by an Arab sheikh to devise a PR campaign for his business, and he offers to fly her and her friends on an all-expenses-paid luxury vacation to Abu Dhabi. While in Abu Dhabi, Carrie runs into her former lover, Aidan (John Corbett), and agrees to a dinner date. In a moment of passion, the two kiss. Carrie deals with the question of whether or not to tell Big.

Samantha tells her to sleep on it while Miranda reflects on the events of the previous film, when her husband, Steve (David Eigenberg), told her about his affair and how, while it helped clear his conscience, was something that she was not so sure she wanted to know in retrospect given the months it took her to recover. Carrie opts to call Big from Abu Dhabi to tell him. Previously, in the television series, Carrie had an affair with the then-previously-married Big while dating Aidan, ending their relationship.

Meanwhile, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda run up against a culture clash in the Middle East, as their style and attitudes contrast with Muslim society, but none more than Samantha, whose antics anger the sheik enough to force a premature return to the United States after he stops paying the bills. This clash, and comedy derived from their defiance, makes for "comic relief."

Synopsis : Andy (John Morris), now nearly 18 years old, is just three days away from heading off to college, and his toys, including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), are worried about their uncertain future as other toys (such as Bo Peep and Wheezy) have been "yard saled" over the years.

Andy plans to keep Woody and put the others in the attic, but his mother (Laurie Metcalf) accidentally throws them away. Also, Molly (Beatrice Miller) isn't going to miss Andy when he's gone.

Woody goes to save his friends but it turns out that the toys escaped and are hiding in the back of the Davis's car, thinking Andy has thrown them away. Jessie (Joan Cusack) thinks that the toys should take charge of their own destiny, and convinces them to stow away in a box of other toys headed for donation to Sunnyside Daycare, while Woody attempts to explain to the toys that they were accidentally thrown away. Before they can leave, Andy's mom closes the back door and drives to Sunnyside to donate some old toys.

The gang arrives at Sunnyside just as the children leave for recess. The Sunnyside toys welcome Andy's toys with open arms, including the leader of the daycare, Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear (Ned Beatty) (A.K.A. "Lotso"), and a smooth-talking Ken (Michael Keaton) doll, who falls in love with Molly's Barbie (Jodi Benson) doll. The toys are keen on starting a new life at the daycare, except for Woody, who has suspicions about the daycare because of the Chatter Telephone (Teddy Newton), and also thinks that the toys shouldn't turn their back on Andy so quickly.

The toys think Woody should stay with them at Sunnyside, but Woody reluctantly leaves to find Andy. Woody escapes from Sunnyside using a hang glider, but ends up losing his hat and getting stuck on the branch of a tree. Woody is soon taken home by a sweet little girl from Sunnyside named Bonnie (Emily Hahn), who takes him to meet her own toys, including Trixie the triceratops (Kristen Schaal), Mr. Pricklepants the hedgehog (Timothy Dalton), Dolly (Bonnie Hunt), Chuckles the Clown (James Anthony Cotton), and Buttercup the unicorn (Jeff Garlin). As Woody tries to recuperate himself and continue his search for Andy, Chuckles explains to Woody the dangers of Sunnyside.

Chuckles tells Woody that himself, Lotso, and Big Baby, one of Lotso's henchmen, were once owned by a loving girl named Daisy. However, one day, she accidentally left them at the countryside. They returned to Daisy's house to find that Daisy's parents bought a new Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear for her, leaving Lotso feeling betrayed and confused. The toys went to Sunnyside where Lotso and Big Baby quickly rose to power and transformed the daycare into a toy prison, while Chuckles was taken home by Bonnie.

Woody quickly realizes that he must save his friends and get back to Andy before he leaves.

Sergeant: [Three of Andy's army men are preparing to jump out the window with parachutes] We've done our duty. Andy's grown up.
Soldier: Let's face it. When the trash bags come out, we army guys are the first to go.

Sergeant: It has been an honor serving with you. Good luck, folks.
[they jump out]

Chunk: [Buzz has just successfully made it to the window over the Caterpillar Room door, at sunset, and now he hears two voices approaching in the hallway below] Heh, heh heh heh... You think they had a fun playtime?
Twitch: Shh! They might hear you!
[Buzz hears giggling to his left and looks over to another doorway where Barbie and Ken are talking to each other]
Ken: Okay, now you start.
Barbie: I...
Ken: love...
Barbie: you! Oh!
Ken: See? That time I said "love"! Okay, now me first.
[Buzz gives them a strange look]
Barbie: [overlapping] Ooh! Okay okay okay...

Ken: you! You see what I mean? It changes every time!
Barbie: [laughing] You are so smart!

Just Watched Shrek Forever After

I just watched Shrek Forever After just now and it's totally worth it to watch...the movie really makes people laugh out loud ( l.o.l ), it was so funny where there's a part where the Donkey says "Man, you're a cat-tastrophe" and the Puss answered "And you, are ri-donk-ulous" that part really makes LMAO, actually not only me, all the people in the movie theater laugh so loud too...hahahaha . ..lolz . . .and there's one part which I think that it's kinda touching is the part where Shrek told Fiona that he knows everything about her ( Fiona, I know everything about you, I know you sing so beautifully that birds explode. I know that when you sign your name, you put a heart over the i. I know that when you see a shooting star you cross your fingers on both hands, squinch up your nose, and you make a wish, I know that you don't like the covers wrapped around your feet, and I know that you sleep by candlelight because every time you close your eyes, you're afraid you're going to wake up back in that tower, But most importantly Fiona, I know that the reason that you turn human every day is because you've never been kissed, well, by me. ) the part really touches my heart . .I know it's kinda weird for a guy to say this but yes it does touches my heart . .lolz ... ..but most of all, they still get to live happily ever after just like the Donkey and the Dragon and their babies ( it's so cute ) . ..I really enjoyed this movie.

Trailer for The Fourth Kind is Incredibly CREEPY!

This trailer isn’t actually new but I decided to share it with you guys because I saw it for the first time when I was doing 8TV Nite Live last night and to be completely honest with you, I was so freaking creeped out of my mind and I was genuinely frightened. Not many trailers do this to me but this one did. Another one would be the Paranormal Activity trailer which you can see here.

Anyway, here it is. Be prepared to not sleep soundly tonight.

A Nightmare On Elm Street Trailer

It’s been 25 years since the original A Nightmare On Elm Street freaked people out. And since then, we’ve had something like 6 Elm Street movies, if I’m not wrong. Well, next year, we will be getting the reimagining/remake/reboot (whatever they call it these days) of the original.

The best part of the new one will definitely be the actor playing Freddy Krueger – Jackie Earle Haley. Having played Rorschach brilliantly in Watchmen just earlier this year, I cannot think of a better actor to play the infamous Freddy. Check out the trailer below to see for yourself.

The terrifying story of two crew members, Corporal Bower (Ben Foster) and Lt. Payton (Dennis Quaid) stranded on a spacecraft where they quickly realise they are not alone. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the spacecraft. They can't remember anything - who are they or what is their mission. The only way out of the chamber is a dark and narrow airshaft. Bower crawls inside, while Payton stays behind for guidance on a radio transmitter. As he ventures deeper and deeper into the ship, he begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft's shocking and deadly secrets come unravelled and the astronauts realise that the survival of mankind hinges on their actions.

This seems like the typical space thriller film so I'm not all that excited for it. Plus, not a big fan of Dennis Quaid. But quite a lot of people seemed to like it. I guess it might just be a good fun popcorn flick.

Toy Story 3 Character Posters and Trailer

It’s been way too long since Toy Story 2 was released but finally, the 3rd installment of the Toy Story franchise is just around the corner. I was kind of bummed when we didn’t get the Toy Story 3-D double-feature here in Malaysia. But now that I’ve seen the trailer for Toy Story 3, I just cannot wait for it. Check it out for yourself below, along with the character posters featuring Buzz, Rex and Hamm.

















Toy Story 3 is about what happens when Andy stops playing. Woody and Buzz had accepted that their owner Andy would grow up someday, but what happens when that day arrives? In the third installment, Andy is preparing to depart for college, leaving his loyal toys troubled about their uncertain future. It would seem they end up in a daycare center.

Toy Story 3 gets an American release June 18, 2010 and Malaysian release a day before.
