Taylor Swift, Country Music Entertainer Of The Year
Congratulations to Taylor Swift for winning the Country Music Association’s top honours at their recent awards show!
The 19-year-old is the youngest ever to win the entertainer of the year award (beating out veterans George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban) and the first solo woman since Shania Twain won it in 1999.
What’s more, she also walked away with female vocalist of the year, best album (Fearless) and best music video (Love Story).
“I will never forget this moment because in this moment everything that I have ever wanted has just happened to me,” she said as she accepted the final and biggest award, which is given to the artiste who had the most impressive all-around performance last year.
