If I was Taylor Swift and Kanye West called me after what he did, I’d have hung up. But Taylor doesn’t seem like a girl who would hold a grudge and good-naturedly accepted Kanye’s apology.

According to reports, Kanye called Taylor as soon as she finished her segment on American talk show The View where Taylor had appeared and performed. However a point to note is that during Taylor’s The View interview, where she discussed the infamous incident, Taylor had clarified that up until that point Kanye had yet to address her personally.
What perfect timing for Kanye to call after Taylor said he hadn’t. Do you buy the sincere apology bit because I certainly don’t? It just looks like Kanye is trying to save face after her realized that technically the person you’ve wronged is the first person you’d reach out and say sorry to. However Kanye took a detour on that road and instead made public apologies to Taylor on his website and during his appearance on Jay Leno's inaugural primetime show.
Despite my belief that Kanye is using his apology as a publicity pedestal, Taylor revealed Kanye was very sincere when he apologized to her personally, and that the widespread support she received from other artistes and her fans made it easier for her to accept his apology.
“The support I got from other artists and from the fans, and so many people sticking up for me, that's what got me to the place where I could accept that apology,” Taylor reportedly said. “And I'm just very thankful that everyone showed me so much love.
”Taylor has totally come out the better person in this whole incident and is all about the 'forgive and forget.' When she was asked if everything will be all right between the two of them, Taylor responded without hesitation. “Yeah. Definitely!”
