It takes a big person to admit they are not perfect. It takes a bigger person to admit that on national television. So, we gotta give Miley Cyrus props for coming out on the Today show to admit that she is far from perfect. “I'm not here to say that I'm perfect because I'm far from that, as we all are,” Miley said candidly.
Working at being a good girl
Though Miley has had her fair of minor scandals in the past, the Hanna Montana star assures her fans that she’s learning from her mistakes and will hopefully not repeat them. “My mistakes are kind of a little bit harder because they are in front of millions and millions of people”, Miley said. “I get to go through that and I get to learn. It's hard sometimes to smile about it, because half the time, yeah, it does suck to have to go through that. But also it makes you want to try harder the next time when I know that little girls look at me and say I'm their hero, so that's really important.”
It’s good to see that despite her fame and occasional screw ups, Miley is trying her best. She could have spiraled out of control like so many child stars before her, but it is great to see she’s doing her darn-est to stay grounded.
