British tabloid The Sun reported that Megan Fox has signed up to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie. It further went on to say that shooting begins next year with the expected release being 2011. Sounds like a reasonable casting decision, right?

Wrong! This is all nothing more than a rumour. And it was a rumour that was quickly quashed by People magazine. They asked Warner Bros. directly about the casting news and a studio rep said: “It’s rumour. It’s not true. There is no script. There is no project to be cast in.”
E! also reached out to Megan’s rep and was told roughly the same thing. “Megan is a huge fan of the Batman movies and of director Christopher Nolan. But these discussions have not taken place,” says the rep.
Other reports have Rachel Weisz as a strong possibility for the role previously held by Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer. Who do you think should play Catwoman?
