Quarantined!
Oh dear, Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has been diagnosed with H1N1 and the rest of the band has been quarantined. Tom was rushed to a hospital in Sydney after flying from Japan to Australia.
“We’re all sick as dogs, man,” guitarist Sergio Pizzorno told British tabloid The Sun. “It’s pretty terrible... I am confined to the hotel room and I look out and see the Opera House and the harbour, and so want to be out there in it all.”
Although the band has cancelled a few Oz shows, they reckon they will be able to come to Malaysia for MTV World Stage this Saturday.
“The doctor says it will take a couple of days and we need to stay in our rooms and chill,” he says. “But we hope to be rocking and rolling very quickly. It’s what we’re on the road to do.” Kasabian fans, keep your fingers crossed!
AAR will be back!Another band, which is performing at this Saturday’s big MTV event, All-American Rejects, is set to return to our shores again this 10 October. So AAR fans that can’t make it this weekend will have a chance to catch them live at this free concert organised by DiGi.
